Closeboard
This fencing design consists of partially overlapping featheredge boards supported at the rear by horizontal wooden cant rails. This structure has in-built strength that withstands especially strong winds.
In addition to this robustness, closeboard fences also have a simple, timeless appearance which offers impressive versatility. Manufactured at your property, we can adapt these installations to handle contours with ease.
Panel
This option involves slotting pre-fabricated timber panels into concrete or timber posts. As such, the erection process is fast and straightforward. Most of the work at your site focuses on installing the posts on level ground and to the correct depth. GN Groundworks slots the panels into place last to create the main structure.
As with closeboard garden fencing, panel options have zero through-visibility. This means both provide complete privacy. You have flexibility with the design of the panel too. For example, you can choose vertical boards with horizontal supports, or vice versa.
Post and Rail
This fencing option is somewhat self-explanatory: it comprises of horizontal rails supported by vertical posts. Both these features are timber. The post and rail style is a kind of ‘open fencing’, so they offer the bare minimum in privacy and security. Instead, we typically install these fences to mark and protect boundaries.
